Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland Reading Concert reviews
Awesome performance in horrible venue
Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland wowed with their performance, especially the dancers, the opera signer, the violinist, and the movie signer (except for the 'testimony song'). The singing was superb.
The concert started with too many unfamiliar opera short songs, which should be eliminated. The second half featured a mix of new and classic songs, such as The Prayer, Sogno, Bellissime Stelle, Nessun Dorma, and more. "Mille Lune Mille Onde", "Because we believe", and Dare to Live (Vivere) were missed.
Adding those two songs to the first half would have made it a flawless show. Despite that, it remains a highly recommended concert.
The Spectrum Stadium in Charlotte isn't suitable for such events. Uncomfortable seating, difficulty getting drinks during breaks, and high side seats make it unappealing, leading some to leave due to fear of heights. Entry took nearly an hour due to poor crowd control, and exiting took another 30 minutes. Future concerts in Charlotte should be held at the Belk Theater or Knights Theater, as the Spectrum Stadium is better suited for basketball games than opera performances.
